Apple Crisp Pizza Dessert (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 sheet pie crust, rolled to fit 30 cm pizza pan

→ Apple Filling

02 - 4 medium apples, peeled and diced (total 4 cups or 480 g)
03 - 133 g white sugar (2/3 cup)
04 - 24 g all-purpose flour (3 tablespoons)
05 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

→ Crisp Topping

06 - 60 g all-purpose flour (1/2 cup)
07 - 67 g brown sugar, packed (1/3 cup)
08 - 50 g old-fashioned oats (1/2 cup)
09 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
10 - 57 g unsalted butter, softened (1/4 cup)

→ To Serve

11 - 120 ml caramel sauce (1/2 cup)
12 - Vanilla ice cream, for serving

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 175°C. Roll out pie crust to a 30 cm circle and fit into a pizza pan, folding the edge slightly to form a border.
02 - Combine diced apples with white sugar, 24 g flour, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Stir to evenly coat the apples.
03 - Distribute the coated apples evenly over the prepared pie crust.
04 - In a separate bowl, blend 60 g flour, brown sugar, oats, cinnamon, and softened butter with fingertips until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle topping evenly over apples.
05 - Bake in the centre of the oven for 35–40 minutes, until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.
06 - Remove from oven and immediately drizzle caramel sauce over the top. Slice into wedges and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

01 - For best results, use tart apples such as Granny Smith for enhanced flavour contrast.
