Bacon Cream Cheese Doritos (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 225 g cream cheese, softened
02 - 100 g cheddar cheese, shredded
03 - 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
04 - 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning (optional)
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1 tablespoon chopped chives or green onions

→ Chips and Breading

07 - 1 large bag Doritos, any flavor (approx. 230 g)
08 - 125 g all-purpose flour
09 - 2 large eggs, beaten
10 - 90 g panko breadcrumbs

→ Frying

11 - Vegetable or canola oil for deep frying

# Instructions:

01 - Combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, crumbled bacon, ranch seasoning (if using), garlic powder, and chopped chives in a bowl. Mix until thoroughly blended.
02 - Select pairs of Doritos chips of similar size. Spread a small portion of the cheese filling onto one chip and sandwich with a second chip. Continue until all filling is used.
03 - Arrange three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs.
04 - Dip each stuffed Doritos sandwich into the flour, shaking off excess, then into the beaten egg, and finally coat evenly in panko breadcrumbs.
05 - Fill a deep skillet or pot with about 5 cm of oil. Heat to 175°C.
06 - Fry the breaded stuffed chips in batches for 1–2 minutes per side, turning as needed until crisp and golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towel.
07 - Present while hot with preferred dipping sauces such as ranch, sour cream, or spicy queso.

01 - Work quickly when assembling and frying to prevent the chips from absorbing excess moisture.
