Baked Cottage Cheese Eggs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 large eggs
02 - 150 g cottage cheese
03 - 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh herbs (parsley, chives, or dill)
04 - 0.5 teaspoon salt
05 - 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
06 - 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter (for greasing the baking dish)
07 - Optional: 60 g baby spinach, diced bell pepper, or sliced mushrooms
08 - Optional: 40 g shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
09 - Optional: 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder or onion powder

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C. Grease a 20 cm baking dish with olive oil or butter.
02 - Crack the eggs into a medium bowl and whisk well until blended. Add salt, pepper, and any chosen dried seasonings.
03 - Stir cottage cheese into the eggs until well incorporated. Fold in vegetables and shredded cheese if using.
04 - Pour the mixture into the greased dish and spread evenly. Bake for 20–25 minutes until set and lightly golden.
05 - Remove from oven and let rest for several minutes. Garnish with fresh herbs or additional cheese if desired, and serve warm.

01 - For extra flavor and moisture, use a mixture of herbs and add sautéed vegetables. Ensure not to overbake to maintain a creamy texture.
