Brussels Sprouts Cheese Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base and Veggies

01 - Halved Brussels sprouts (16 ounces)
02 - Unsalted butter (2 tablespoons)
03 - Finely chopped fresh garlic (3 cloves)
04 - Heavy whipping cream (½ cup)

→ Spices

05 - Table salt (½ teaspoon)
06 - Freshly ground black pepper (¼ teaspoon)
07 - Dried garlic powder (¼ teaspoon)
08 - Ground nutmeg (⅛ teaspoon)

→ Cheese Mix

09 - Freshly grated Parmesan (½ cup)
10 - Grated sharp Cheddar (1 cup)
11 - Grated creamy Fontina (1 cup)

# Instructions:

01 - Put your oven rack in the middle and warm it up to 375°F.
02 - Cut Brussels sprouts in half. Grate all cheeses and put them together in a bowl for later.
03 - Melt butter with chopped garlic in an oven-safe pan on medium heat until it bubbles but doesn't brown. Take it off the heat and add cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder and nutmeg. Stir in half your cheese mix.
04 - Toss Brussels sprouts into the sauce, making sure they're coated well and spread out flat. Sprinkle the rest of your cheese on top. Cook for 18-25 minutes until the cheese gets bubbly and sprouts turn soft.
