Cheesy Garlic Mushroom (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Mushroom Topping

01 - 400g button mushrooms, freshly sliced
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
04 - Pinch of sea salt
05 - Ground black pepper, as you like it
06 - 1 tablespoon dried oregano

→ Bread Base

07 - 4 thick slices of bread
08 - 4 tablespoons softened butter
09 - 1/2 cup shredded fresh mozzarella

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) so it’s all set for crisping the bread just right.
02 - Heat olive oil in a big pan over medium-low. Toss in the mushrooms and let them cook slowly until they take on a rich, golden tone.
03 - As the mushrooms sizzle, coat both sides of each bread slice with softened butter. Pop them in the hot oven for about 4-5 minutes until they’re lightly browned.
04 - When the mushrooms are nicely browned and their liquid has cooked off, stir in the minced garlic. Let it cook for a minute, then mix in salt, pepper, oregano, and half the shredded mozzarella in a bowl.
05 - Take the warm bread slices from the oven. Spread the mushroom blend on each slice, sprinkle on the rest of the mozzarella, and bake for another 8-10 minutes until the cheese bubbles. Serve it hot!

# Notes:

01 - Perfect as a hearty snack or a quick morning bite with coffee.
02 - Use fresh mushrooms and softened butter for smoother prep and the best flavor.
