Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Crust

01 - 2 cups mini chocolate chip cookies, finely crushed
02 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

→ Filling

03 - 1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - 1/2 cup chocolate syrup

→ Topping

06 - 1/2 cup whipped cream
07 - 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

# Instructions:

01 - Combine crushed mini chocolate chip cookies and melted butter in a mixing bowl. Stir until evenly moistened. Firmly press mixture into the base and sides of a 23-cm pie dish. Refrigerate for 15 minutes to firm.
02 - Blend softened vanilla ice cream with vanilla extract in a separate bowl until homogeneous. If desired, fold in half of the chocolate syrup for enhanced flavor.
03 - Retrieve the chilled crust. Evenly distribute the ice cream mixture into the prepared crust. Smooth the surface and drizzle the remaining chocolate syrup over the ice cream layer.
04 - Cover securely with plastic wrap and freeze for a minimum of 4 hours until completely firm.
05 - Remove from freezer and rest at room temperature for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish each slice with whipped cream and a sprinkling of mini chocolate chips. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For easier slicing, use a knife dipped in hot water to cut through the frozen dessert.
