Follow the directions on your stovetop popper, air popper, or package to pop your kernels.

Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper, then spread out your popcorn and toss a bit of salt on top.

Warm up the chopped chocolate and optional coconut oil together until it's smooth and silky.

With a spoon or fork, toss some of the melted chocolate mixture over the popcorn to coat it evenly.

Leave the popcorn to rest for 30 minutes so the chocolate hardens, then stash it in airtight bags or containers to keep it fresh.
