Sweet Valentine Cupcakes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chocolate Cupcakes

01 - ½ cup cooking oil
02 - ¾ cups hot coffee
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
05 - 1½ cups plain flour
06 - 1 cup white sugar
07 - 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
08 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
09 - ½ teaspoon baking powder
10 - ½ teaspoon table salt

→ Strawberry Buttercream

11 - 1 cup softened unsalted butter
12 - 3 cups icing sugar
13 - 1 cup dried strawberry pieces
14 - 3 tablespoons milk, with extra on hand
15 - 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
16 - ½ teaspoon salt crystals

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F. Put paper liners in your cupcake tin.
02 - Stir oil, hot coffee, egg, and vanilla together until they're well mixed.
03 - Sieve flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together. Pour into wet mixture and stir until smooth.
04 - Pour batter into liners, filling each about 2/3. Pop in oven for 18-22 minutes until they bounce back when touched. Let them cool all the way.
05 - Whip butter until light and creamy. Slowly add icing sugar. Blend in strawberries, milk, vanilla, and salt until creamy. Add more milk if it's too thick. Top your cooled cupcakes with frosting.
