Crab Pasta Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 box dry pasta, like rotini or bowtie (about 1 pound).
02 - 12 to 16 oz imitation crab, pulled apart into chunks.
03 - 1 cup of mayo.
04 - 1/2 cup of tangy buttermilk.
05 - Juice from one lemon.
06 - 1 tsp onion powder.
07 - 2 minced garlic cloves.
08 - 1/2 tsp seasoned salt (like Lawry's).
09 - 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped up.
10 - 2 tablespoons sugar (your call—great either way).
11 - Salt & black pepper to taste (plus extra for pasta water).
12 - 4 thinly sliced green onions (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Boil pasta in well-salted water until done, drain it, and rinse with cool water. Let it sit until it cools completely.
02 - Tear apart the imitation crab into bite-sized chunks.
03 - In a big mixing bowl, stir together mayo, buttermilk, garlic, lemon juice, and all the seasonings.
04 - Toss the crab into the dressing, then gradually fold in the cooled pasta until it's fully coated.
05 - If you're adding green onions, mix them in now. Chill for at least an hour before serving.

# Notes:

01 - This makes a big bowl—it feeds a crowd easily.
02 - Don't have buttermilk? Lemon juice in milk works too.
03 - For best results, chill it in the fridge for at least an hour.
04 - Adding green onions is up to you.
