Cranberry Orange Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Softened unsalted butter (1 cup/227g).
02 - White sugar (1 1/3 cups/267g).
03 - Zest from an orange (1 tablespoon).
04 - Two large yolks.
05 - Freshly squeezed orange juice (3 tablespoons).
06 - Plain flour (3 cups/375g).
07 - A tablespoon of cornstarch.
08 - Powdered baking mix (1 teaspoon).
09 - A pinch of baking soda (1/2 teaspoon).
10 - Three-quarters teaspoon of fine salt.
11 - 200g of whole fresh cranberries (2 cups).
12 - Half a cup of sugar for coating (100g).
13 - Two teaspoons of extra orange zest for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350F and line baking trays with parchment.
02 - Whip together butter, sugar, and zest till light. Blend in egg yolks and juice.
03 - In a bowl, mix dry ingredients like flour, cornstarch, salt, soda, and baking powder.
04 - Slowly add dry mix to the buttery mixture. Gently stir in cranberries.
05 - Rub together orange zest and sugar to flavor the topping.
06 - Shape dough into 1.5 tablespoon scoops. Roll in sugar zest mix. Bake for 11 to 13 minutes till edges just color.
