Set your air fryer to warm up at 370°F. Let it preheat for 3 minutes or more.

Combine oil, garlic, salt, and black pepper in a big bowl. Give it a good stir.

Toss the asparagus into the bowl. Stir it around so every piece gets evenly coated.

Layer the asparagus spears flat in the fryer basket. Cook them for 6-9 minutes, giving the basket a shake halfway through. Thinner spears cook in 6 minutes, thicker ones could need up to 9.

Sprinkle on some extra salt and pepper to taste before serving your asparagus. Dig in!
