Chicken Cordon Bleu Dinner (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Key Ingredients

01 - 4 chicken breasts without skin (roughly 2 pounds), cut in half lengthwise
02 - 8 small ham slices
03 - 8 ounces of Swiss cheese, either cut or grated
04 - Black pepper and salt for taste

→ Outer Layer

05 - 3 cups smashed corn flakes
06 - 6 tablespoons melted butter

→ Dipping Mix

07 - 1 cup mayo
08 - 1-2 teaspoons regular mustard, add to your liking

# Instructions:

01 - Slice chicken breasts sideways and flatten between plastic sheets until they're even and thin
02 - Put ham and Swiss cheese on each chicken piece, roll them up tight and seal in plastic wrap, twisting the ends to keep everything in place
03 - Stick the wrapped chicken in the fridge for at least 30 minutes so they don't fall apart
04 - Heat your oven to 400°F. Sprinkle the unwrapped chicken with salt and pepper, coat with butter, then roll in crushed corn flakes
05 - Put on a greased tray and cook for 30 minutes or until the chicken hits 160°F inside
06 - Stir mayo and mustard together, adding more or less mustard as you want

# Notes:

01 - You can make these a day ahead
02 - They'll stay good in the freezer for up to 3 months
03 - Try crushed crackers or breadcrumbs if you're out of corn flakes
