Cheese Sticks Mozzarella (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 package (16 oz) mozzarella string cheese.
02 - 2 cups oil for frying.
03 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic seasoning salt.
04 - 2/3 cup plain flour.
05 - 1/3 cup starch (corn).
06 - 1 1/2 cups seasoned breadcrumbs.
07 - 1/4 cup chilled water.
08 - 2 big eggs, whisked.

# Instructions:

01 - Put eggs and water in one bowl, breadcrumbs with garlic salt in another, and mix flour and cornstarch in a third.
02 - Heat oil in a deep pot. It should hit 365°F for frying.
03 - Coat cheese sticks by tossing in flour, dunking in egg, and covering in breadcrumbs.
04 - Use tongs to drop 3-4 sticks in hot oil carefully.
05 - Let them sizzle for half a minute till golden brown.
06 - Lift them out and let excess oil drain on paper towels.
07 - Keep frying the remaining batch and serve right away while warm.

# Notes:

01 - Goes best with a side of marinara dip.
02 - Tastes great fresh while the cheese is gooey.
03 - Avoid putting too many sticks in the oil at once.
