Crisp Air Fryer Broccoli (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4–5 cups (1 lb) broccoli florets
02 - 2 tbsp olive or avocado oil
03 - 1 minced clove of garlic
04 - 1/2 tsp salt (or adjust to your liking)
05 - 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
06 - Optional: 1/2 tsp lemon zest
07 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, split in half (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Set your air fryer to 375°F and let it run for at least 3 minutes to heat completely.
02 - Combine oil, garlic, salt, and pepper in a big mixing bowl. Toss broccoli florets until they’re evenly coated. Add 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan and give it another mix.
03 - Place the broccoli in the preheated air fryer basket and cook for 4–5 minutes. Shake the basket about halfway through to cook everything evenly.
04 - If you’d like your broccoli even crispier, turn the heat up to 390°F and fry for an extra minute after shaking the basket.
05 - Top with extra lemon zest and the rest of the Parmesan before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Let your broccoli cool completely before storing it to avoid sogginess. Store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
02 - Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F for 2–3 minutes to bring back the crunch.
03 - Cut your florets to a similar size so they cook at the same pace.
04 - Dry off the broccoli completely before cooking to help it crisp instead of steam.
05 - Shaking the air fryer basket midway helps everything crisp up evenly with a golden touch.
06 - Bump the air fryer’s temperature to 390°F for super crispy florets.
