Heaven on Earth Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cake Layers

01 - 1 ½ cups of milk
02 - 1 package of vanilla pudding mix (3.4 oz), instant
03 - 1 prepared angel food cake—cut into chunks
04 - 1 package (8 oz) of softened cream cheese
05 - 1 cup of sour cream

→ Topping

06 - 1 container (8 oz) of whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
07 - Chopped pecans or almonds on top, optional
08 - 1 can (21 oz) of cherry pie filling

# Instructions:

01 - Slice the cake into bite-sized pieces and put to the side.
02 - Mix the pudding powder with milk in a bowl for a couple of minutes until thick and smooth. Stir in the sour cream to blend it well.
03 - Beat the cream cheese in a large bowl until it’s nice and smooth. Fold the whipped topping into it carefully until it’s completely mixed.
04 - Grab a 9×13-inch dish and spread half the cake cubes in it. Add half the pudding over the cubes and smooth it out. Top this layer with half the cream cheese mix. Now repeat it with the rest of the ingredients. Finish by spreading cherry pie filling across the top layer.
05 - Cover the dish and let it sit in the refrigerator for a good 4 hours or overnight. Sprinkle nuts on top if you’re using them. Serve it nice and cold.

# Notes:

01 - Switch out cherry pie filling for blueberry, strawberry, or raspberry.
02 - Add crushed cookies or crackers for an extra crunch.
03 - Go for lighter versions of ingredients if you want less calories.
