Fiery Chicken with Bells (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 2 big skinless chicken breasts or 4-5 thighs, diced into small chunks
02 - 2 tiny sweet peppers (red, orange or yellow), chopped into chunks
03 - 3 scallions, green and white sections kept apart
04 - Enough oil for cooking

→ Sauce

05 - 1/4 cup tomato sauce
06 - 1-2 spoonfuls spicy garlic paste
07 - 2 spoonfuls concentrated tomato
08 - 2 spoonfuls reduced-salt soy sauce
09 - 1 spoonful clear vinegar
10 - 1 spoonful dark sugar

→ Additional

11 - 3/4 cup chicken stock
12 - 2 spoonfuls starch mixed with 2 spoonfuls chilled water
13 - Pinch of salt and fresh black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Chop sweet peppers into chunks and divide scallions into white and green parts
02 - Stir all sauce stuff together in a dish, adding more or less spicy garlic paste depending how hot you want it
03 - Warm up oil and throw in chicken until fully cooked, pour in sauce and let bubble for 1 minute
04 - Pour in stock, add peppers and white scallion bits. Cover the pan and let everything cook for 5-6 minutes till peppers soften
05 - Sprinkle in most green scallion parts, taste and add seasonings, then stir in starch mix to thicken. Top with leftover green bits
