Fresh Cranberry Relish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - One 12-ounce pack of fresh or frozen cranberries (about 4 cups).
02 - ½ cup natural sweetener like maple syrup or honey.
03 - ½ cup juice squeezed from oranges.
04 - ½ cup water.
05 - Grated orange peel (if you want).

# Instructions:

01 - Put water, orange juice, and your sweetener in a pot over medium-high heat. Let it come to a bubble.
02 - Dump in cranberries and mix well. Wait till it bubbles again, then turn heat down.
03 - Keep it going for 5-10 minutes, giving it a stir now and then, until berries pop and mix gets thicker.
04 - Switch off the stove and let it sit for 15 minutes. Pour into a bowl and stick it in the fridge to set up more.

# Notes:

01 - You can whip this up a day ahead.
02 - Make it more or less sweet as you like.
03 - You can use less orange juice or skip it altogether.
