Hobo Beef Dinner (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 medium onion, diced.
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil.
03 - 1 pound ground beef.
04 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
05 - 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded.
06 - 1/4 cup milk (optional).
07 - 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika.
09 - 4-5 medium potatoes, sliced thin.
10 - Salt and pepper as you like.
11 - 2 cloves garlic, minced.
12 - 1 tablespoon ketchup (optional).
13 - 1/2 cup broth (or water).
14 - A little parsley, chopped, for topping.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the oven to 375°F. Give a 9x13 dish a light coat of oil or spray.
02 - Warm oil in a pan. Cook the beef for 5-7 minutes until it's no longer pink. Pour off any extra fat.
03 - Mix onion and garlic into the beef, cooking for about 3-4 minutes until the onion is soft.
04 - Spread the beef out in the dish. Lay the potato slices on top. Add your seasoning and cheese.
05 - Drizzle the broth (and milk if you want) around the edges of the dish.
06 - Cover everything with foil. Bake it for 30 minutes, then take off the foil and bake another 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are tender.

01 - Get the beef nice and brown for richer flavor.
02 - Slice your potatoes thin and evenly.
03 - Feel free to add veggies if you like.
