                Turn on the oven and set it to 425˚F.

                Melt the butter in a big skillet on medium heat. Toss in the onions and let them cook, stirring once in a while, for 5-7 minutes. Once soft, mix in the ham and cook for a bit longer.

                Grab a large bowl and whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Stir in the cheese (save a bit for topping if you like).

                Place the skillet on medium-low heat. Pour in the egg mixture, giving it a good stir to spread everything around. Let it cook for about a minute without touching it, just until the edges firm up.

                Move the skillet into the oven and let it bake for around 10-12 minutes, just until the middle sets. Take it out, let it cool a bit, then slice it up.
