Creamy Hot Chocolate (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups of whole milk.
02 - 1/4 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
03 - 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, unsweetened.
04 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar.
05 - A tiny pinch of salt.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.

# Instructions:

01 - Pour the milk, sugar, salt, chocolate chips, and cocoa into a pan. Set it on low to medium heat.
02 - Keep whisking now and then. Let the chocolate melt down and the mix get hot and steamy—but take care it doesn't boil. This should take about 10 minutes.
03 - Take the pan off the heat. Add the vanilla right after.
04 - Pour into mugs. Add whipped cream or marshmallows on top if you'd like. Enjoy while it's still hot!

# Notes:

01 - You can swap in low-fat milk if you'd rather.
02 - Substitute dark or milk chocolate chips based on your preference.
03 - Store leftovers in the fridge for up to seven days.
04 - Perfect to make in a slow cooker for parties.
