In a large mixing bowl, blend the brownie mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil until smooth and thick.

Gently fold 120 ml hot fudge sauce into the batter, taking care not to overmix to preserve swirls.

If desired, stir in semi-sweet chocolate chips for additional richness.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and level the surface.

Bake for 50 to 60 minutes. Check at 45 minutes; if the surface browns excessively, tent loosely with foil. The loaf is ready when a toothpick inserted in the centre yields a few moist crumbs.

Let cool in the pan for 10 to 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Warm additional hot fudge and drizzle over before serving.
