Honey Garlic Glazed Meatballs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Meatballs

01 - Ground beef, chilled (2 pounds)
02 - Panko or homemade breadcrumbs (¾ cup panko or 1 cup fresh)
03 - Whole milk (¾ cup)
04 - Onion, finely chopped (1 whole)
05 - Beaten eggs, large (2)
06 - Sea salt (2 teaspoons)
07 - Black pepper, freshly ground (1 teaspoon)
08 - Favorite dry seasonings (1-2 teaspoons, if you want)

→ Honey Garlic Sauce

09 - Cooking oil or butter (½ tablespoon)
10 - Garlic cloves, finely chopped (2-4)
11 - Honey (½ cup)
12 - Ketchup (¾ cup)
13 - Soy sauce (¼ cup)

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 400°F. Grab two baking sheets with sides and cover them with foil or parchment paper.
02 - Mix the milk into your breadcrumbs and wait till they've soaked up all the liquid and gone soft.
03 - Throw your beef, milk-soaked crumbs, chopped onion, eggs, salt, pepper, and extra spices if using into a big bowl. Mix everything until it's just combined.
04 - Roll the meat mix into little balls about 1 tablespoon each and put them on your lined sheets. Pop them in the oven for 12-14 minutes but don't leave them too long.
05 - As your meatballs cook, warm up the butter in a pot on medium. Toss in the chopped garlic for half a minute, then add the honey, ketchup, and soy sauce. Let it bubble gently for 5 minutes.
06 - Drop the cooked meatballs into your sauce and let everything hang out together for 7-10 minutes until the meatballs are done and nicely coated.

# Notes:

01 - You can make the meatballs a day early and keep them in the fridge
02 - For later use, freeze them on a tray first, then bag them up
03 - Don't make the sauce until you're ready to eat for the tastiest results
