Charming Lavender Spritz (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cocktail

01 - 1 oz (30ml) lavender syrup
02 - 2 oz (60ml) sparkling wine or Prosecco
03 - 1 oz (30ml) club soda
04 - ½ oz (15ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
05 - Ice cubes

→ Lavender Syrup

06 - 1 cup of water
07 - 1 cup of white sugar
08 - 2 tablespoons of dried lavender meant for cooking

→ Garnish

09 - A lemon slice
10 - A sprig of fresh lavender

# Instructions:

01 - Put the water, lavender, and sugar into a small pot. Heat it up while stirring until the sugar’s all melted. Let it simmer, then turn off the heat and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes.
02 - Pour the syrup through a fine strainer to remove the lavender bits. Let it cool fully.
03 - Fill up a wine glass with ice. Add the lavender syrup and lemon juice. Pour in the Prosecco and finish with the soda water.
04 - Give it a light stir to combine everything while keeping the bubbles. Add some lavender and a slice of lemon for garnish.

# Notes:

01 - You can store the leftover lavender syrup in the fridge for up to 14 days.
02 - Replace the Prosecco with sparkling water to make this drink non-alcoholic.
03 - Adjust the sweetness by tweaking how much lavender syrup you use.
