Pizza Style Hot Sandwich (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - Chunky bread pieces (4 fat) or Italian loaf (12-14 ounces)
02 - Tomato or pasta sauce (½ cup)
03 - Sliced fresh mozzarella (4 ounces)
04 - Cuts of pepperoni (3-4 ounces)
05 - Cooking spray with olive oil

→ Optional Garlic Butter

06 - Plain butter (2 teaspoons)
07 - Oregano seasoning (1 teaspoon)
08 - Spicy pepper flakes (½ teaspoon)
09 - Powdered garlic (1 teaspoon)
10 - Shredded Parmesan (¼ cup)

# Instructions:

01 - Turn on your panini maker, Foreman grill, or warm up a grill pan to medium heat.
02 - Slice bread thickly or scoop out some of the ciabatta middle. Put sauce all over the cut parts.
03 - Stack mozzarella and pepperoni on the lower bread half. Place top piece on and coat outside with olive oil spray.
04 - Pop the sandwich on for 3-4 minutes each side till it's brown and the cheese gets runny. For pan users, put a heavy pot on top.
05 - Wait a minute or two before you cut and eat it.

# Notes:

01 - Pick thick bread so it won't get mushy
02 - Don't stuff too much in or cheese won't melt right
03 - You can spread garlic butter mix for tastier results
