Melt in Mississippi Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 pounds chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
02 - 1 diced medium onion
03 - 1 pack of ranch seasoning mix
04 - 1 pack of au jus seasoning mix
05 - ¾ cup of juice from pepperoncini jar
06 - 8 whole pepperoncini peppers, keep the juice
07 - 1 stick of unsalted butter, cut into pieces

# Instructions:

01 - Coat your crockpot with a nonstick spray to keep food from sticking.
02 - Start with the diced onion spread across the bottom. Lay the chicken breasts directly on top of the onions.
03 - Sprinkle the au jus and ranch mixes evenly over the chicken. Add the pepperoncinis all around, then pour their juice into the pot.
04 - Place the butter slices over the chicken to finish the layering.
05 - Put the lid on and let it cook. Use the low setting for about 6 to 8 hours or set it to high for 4 to 5 hours, until the chicken is tender.
06 - When done, shred the chicken with two forks and stir everything together until well mixed.

# Notes:

01 - Serve the tender chicken over a base like mashed potatoes, rice, or cauliflower rice. It also works great in wraps or sliders.
