Creamy Mushroom Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 boneless chicken breasts, large-sized.
02 - Seasoning: salt and pepper as needed.
03 - Flour for dusting the chicken.
04 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
05 - Butter, 2 tablespoons.
06 - 12 oz of sliced mushrooms (cremini or button).
07 - Italian seasoning, around ¼ teaspoon.
08 - 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped.
09 - Chicken stock, ½ cup.
10 - Lemon juice, ½ teaspoon.
11 - Dijon mustard, ½ teaspoon.
12 - 1 cup of heavy cream.

# Instructions:

01 - Slice chicken breasts horizontally to make four thin pieces. Lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour.
02 - Pour oil into a heated skillet (medium-high). Brown both sides of chicken for 4-5 minutes each, then set aside.
03 - In the same pan, melt butter, toss in mushrooms, and sprinkle seasoning. Stir as the mushrooms soften and turn golden. Remove them from the pan.
04 - Put garlic, broth, mustard, and lemon juice into the pan. Cook for about 4 minutes until it thickens to half its volume.
05 - Mix cream into the skillet. Add chicken and mushrooms back. Simmer for 5 minutes till the chicken is cooked and sauce is creamy.
