Philly Cheesesteak Cheesy Breadsticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough and Fillings

01 - 450 g pizza dough
02 - 225 g thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin steak
03 - 80 g sliced onions
04 - 80 g sliced green bell peppers
05 - 100 g shredded mozzarella cheese

→ Seasonings and Extras

06 - 1 tbsp olive oil
07 - 1 tsp garlic powder
08 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
09 - 2 tbsp melted butter
10 - 1 tsp dried parsley (optional, for garnish)
11 - Marinara or cheese sauce, for serving (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it for a non-stick surface.
02 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté sliced steak until browned, approximately 3–4 minutes. Add onions and green bell peppers, cooking until softened, about 3–5 minutes. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Allow mixture to cool slightly.
03 - On a lightly floured surface, roll out pizza dough into a large rectangle about 6 mm thick. Cut into 6 to 8 equal strips, depending on preferred breadstick size.
04 - Distribute the cooled steak and vegetable mixture evenly along the center of each dough strip. Top with mozzarella cheese. Fold dough over the filling and pinch edges firmly to seal into a log shape.
05 - Arrange stuffed breadsticks seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and, if desired, sprinkle with dried parsley. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
06 - Allow breadsticks to cool briefly. Serve warm, accompanied by marinara or cheese sauce for dipping if desired.

# Notes:

01 - For the best texture, allow steak mixture to cool before stuffing to prevent dough from becoming soggy.
