Pink Chocolate Kiss Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Dough

01 - 1 cup (226g) soft butter, unsalted
02 - 1 cup (200g) white sugar
03 - 1 large egg, not cold
04 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla
05 - 1/2 teaspoon almond flavor (if you want)
06 - 2 cups (250g) regular flour
07 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
09 - 1 package (3 oz) strawberry jello powder

→ Topping

10 - 24-30 chocolate kisses, wrappers removed
11 - 1/4 cup fine sugar dust, for sprinkling

# Instructions:

01 - Whip the butter with sugar till light. Drop in the egg and flavor extracts. Stir in the strawberry jello. In another bowl, mix flour with baking powder and salt, then slowly blend into your wet mix.
02 - Grab small spoonfuls of dough and roll into balls. Set them on your lined cookie sheet, leaving good space between each. Push your thumb down in the middle of each ball.
03 - Stick them in a 350°F oven for about 10-12 minutes until the sides look done. Let them sit on the tray briefly.
04 - Stick a chocolate kiss into each warm cookie center. Let them cool all the way on a wire rack, then sprinkle sugar dust over the top.
