# Ingredients:

→ Proteins

01 - 1 pound of ground beef, lean

→ Grains

02 - A cup of white rice, long-grain

→ Vegetables

03 - 1 can of diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
04 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
05 - 1 medium onion, chopped small
06 - 1 bell pepper, chopped small

→ Liquids

07 - A tablespoon of olive oil
08 - 2 cups of beef broth

→ Seasonings

09 - Salt and pepper to your liking
10 - A teaspoon of oregano, dried
11 - A teaspoon of paprika

→ Optional Toppings

12 - A cup of cheddar cheese, shredded

# Instructions:

01 - Warm a skillet over medium-high heat. Drizzle in some olive oil, toss in the ground beef, and break it apart as it cooks. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
02 - When the meat's browned, toss in the onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook them down for about 3-4 minutes until they become soft and smell amazing.
03 - Mix in the oregano and paprika, stirring to spread the flavors throughout the beef and veggies.
04 - Pour the rice into the skillet and stir it around, so it gets coated well with the mixture of beef and vegetables.
05 - Pour the beef broth and diced tomatoes into the skillet. Raise the heat to get it boiling, then bring it down to a lower heat setting.
06 - Cover the skillet and let it simmer for roughly 18-20 minutes, giving the rice time to soften and soak up most of the liquid.
07 - Fluff the rice gently, taste, and add more seasoning if you want. If you're adding cheese, sprinkle it on top, let it melt, then serve it up.

# Notes:

01 - This simple, one-pan dish brings together flavorful beef, soft rice, and veggies for an all-in-one meal option.
