Crunchy Buffalo Strips (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken and Coating

01 - 1 1/4 pounds chicken strips
02 - 1/2 cup plain flour
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic seasoning
04 - 2 eggs
05 - 2 cups crunchy panko crumbs
06 - Salt and pepper as needed
07 - Neutral cooking oil for frying

→ Buffalo Sauce

08 - 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons Frank's Original hot sauce
09 - 1/4 to 1/2 cup unsalted butter blocks
10 - 1-2 tablespoons honey, as preferred

→ Garnish

11 - 4 green onions, chopped finely

# Instructions:

01 - Dry the chicken strips with paper towels and sprinkle with salt and pepper
02 - Arrange three bowls: one with seasoned flour, another with eggs mixed with hot sauce, and a third with salted panko crumbs
03 - Pour 1/4 inch cooking oil in a wide pan and warm to 350°F
04 - Roll chicken in flour first, then dip in egg mix, finally cover with panko and lightly press down
05 - Put butter in a small pot, add the hot sauce and honey, then stir until everything's blended and keep it warm
06 - Fry chicken in small batches around 4-5 minutes each side until they turn golden and reach 165°F inside
07 - Roll the hot fried strips in your warm buffalo mix and scatter green onions on top
