Spicy Honey Chicken Wings (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Wings

01 - 2½ pounds small chicken wings, joints separated and tips cut off
02 - Salt and pepper as needed
03 - 8-9 teaspoons jerk spice mix, adjust to your taste
04 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
05 - Cooking spray

→ Honey Garlic Glaze

06 - 2 tablespoons salted butter
07 - 5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
08 - 1/4 cup honey
09 - 1½ teaspoons tamari
10 - 1/4 teaspoon gluten-free hot sauce
11 - 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger or fresh grated ginger
12 - 1/8 teaspoon smoked paprika

# Instructions:

01 - Dry wings completely with paper towel. Mix with salt, pepper, jerk seasoning and baking powder until fully covered.
02 - Heat air fryer to 400°F. Lightly coat the rack with cooking spray and place wings in one layer without stacking them.
03 - Air fry wings for 15-17 minutes, turning once halfway, until they're almost done.
04 - While wings cook, melt butter and garlic in a pot on medium heat. Stir in honey, tamari, hot sauce, ginger and paprika. Let bubble for 3-4 minutes.
05 - Dunk crispy wings in the sauce or paint them with glaze, then pop back in the air fryer for 8 more minutes before you eat.

# Notes:

01 - You can cook wings in a regular oven at 400°F until they get crispy
02 - When using oven, put wings on a wire rack over parchment paper
03 - Wings take longer to get crispy in an oven than an air fryer
