Strawberries Dipped Chocolate (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 pounds of fresh strawberries, keep the stems on.
02 - 10 ounces of Ghirardelli baking chips (choose from milk, semi-sweet, or bittersweet).

# Instructions:

01 - Dry off freshly washed strawberries thoroughly so the chocolate will stick better.
02 - Get some parchment paper on a sheet pan and organize toppings on small plates if you plan to use them.
03 - Melt the chocolate gently, either in the microwave in short bursts of 30 seconds or with a double boiler, stirring often so it doesn’t burn.
04 - Grab each strawberry by its stem, dip carefully in melted chocolate, and twist to remove any extra chocolate.
05 - For extra flavor, quickly dip the chocolate-dipped berry into toppings if you want.
06 - Lay the finished strawberries on the parchment-lined pan and chill them for about 15 minutes to let the chocolate firm up.
