Golden Honey Carrots (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Vegetables

01 - About 2 pounds of carrots, skinned and cut into three parts

→ Honey Garlic Butter Sauce

02 - 4 tablespoons of salted butter
03 - 4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
04 - 2 tablespoons of honey
05 - ¼ teaspoon of smoked paprika
06 - ½ teaspoon of salt
07 - ¼ teaspoon of black pepper

→ Garnish

08 - 2 tablespoons of fresh chopped parsley

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 425°F. Coat a big baking tray with cooking spray. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
02 - Put the chopped garlic in the melted butter and cook for half a minute. Mix in the honey, smoked paprika, salt and pepper. Throw in carrots and coat them in the mixture, letting them soak for a minute or two.
03 - Use tongs to move carrots to your greased baking tray, but save the sauce in the pan. Bake them for 20 minutes.
04 - While your carrots are baking, cook down the leftover sauce for 2 minutes. After the first 20 minutes, roll the carrots in this thicker sauce and bake for another 5-7 minutes until soft. If you want, broil them for 30 seconds at the end to brown them up.
05 - Sprinkle with fresh parsley and eat while hot.

# Notes:

01 - When using unsalted butter, just add a bit more salt to taste.
02 - You don't have to broil at the end, but it makes the carrots look and taste even better.
