Creamy Blueberry Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - One pack of ready-made crescent dough
02 - 8 oz cream cheese, left to soften
03 - ½ cup white sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

→ Filling & Topping

05 - 1 cup blueberries, either fresh or thawed frozen
06 - 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
07 - ¼ cup fine powdered sugar for sprinkling

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven hot at 375°F (190°C) and lightly coat a baking sheet with butter or oil.
02 - Open the crescent package and squish the perforated lines together to make one flat piece.
03 - Blend the soft cream cheese with white sugar and vanilla until it's fluffy and well-mixed.
04 - Smear the cheese mix all over the dough, then scatter blueberries and lemon peel on top.
05 - Starting from one side, tightly roll everything into a cylinder shape. Cut into 1-inch slices.
06 - Set the slices on your greased baking sheet and cook for 15-20 minutes till they turn golden.
07 - Cool them a bit, then dust with powdered sugar. They're tastiest when they're still warm.
