Get your oven hot at 375°F (190°C) and lightly coat a baking sheet with butter or oil.

Open the crescent package and squish the perforated lines together to make one flat piece.

Blend the soft cream cheese with white sugar and vanilla until it's fluffy and well-mixed.

Smear the cheese mix all over the dough, then scatter blueberries and lemon peel on top.

Starting from one side, tightly roll everything into a cylinder shape. Cut into 1-inch slices.

Set the slices on your greased baking sheet and cook for 15-20 minutes till they turn golden.
