Korean Beef with Rice (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 1 pound ground beef (90% lean)
02 - 2 cups cooked rice, white or brown

→ Sauce

03 - 3 garlic cloves, chopped fine
04 - 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed down
05 - 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
06 - 2 teaspoons sesame oil
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
08 - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
09 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

→ Garnish

10 - Green onions, cut into rounds
11 - Sesame seeds for sprinkling

# Instructions:

01 - In a big skillet over medium heat, break up and cook the beef with garlic until fully browned. Get rid of any extra fat.
02 - In a small bowl, stir together the brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper flakes, and black pepper until well combined.
03 - Add the mixed sauce to your beef and let it bubble for about 1-2 minutes. Scoop over warm rice and top with green onions and sesame seeds.
