Tortellini Creamy Spinach (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil.
02 - 1 tablespoon butter.
03 - 1 diced onion.
04 - 2 minced garlic cloves.
05 - A pinch of red pepper flakes.
06 - 1/4 cup plain flour.
07 - 3 cups veggie broth.
08 - 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes.
09 - 8 ounces tomato sauce.
10 - 1/2 teaspoon dried basil.
11 - 1 teaspoon Italian herbs.
12 - 8 ounces cheese tortellini.
13 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan.
14 - 1 1/2 cups fresh spinach.
15 - 1/2 cup heavy cream.
16 - 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil.

# Instructions:

01 - Melt the butter with some oil on medium heat. Throw in the onion for 5 minutes, then garlic right after.
02 - Mix in the flour and cook for a minute. Add in broth, diced tomatoes, sauce, and seasonings next.
03 - Let it lightly boil. Toss in the tortellini and cook till they’re soft.
04 - Take the pot off the heat. Stir in spinach, Parmesan, cream, and the fresh basil.

# Notes:

01 - Feel free to add sausage or more veggies.
02 - Great option to make in a slow cooker.
03 - You can freeze it if you leave out the pasta and cream.
