Put parchment paper or a silicone mat on a baking sheet and move it to the side.

Slice apples into ½-inch wedges. Push popsicle sticks deep into one end of each wedge.

Combine chocolate chips with vegetable oil in a bowl safe for microwaving. Warm in 30-second blasts, giving it a stir each time, until it's totally smooth.

Grab each apple wedge by the stick and dunk into the melted chocolate mixture. Make sure it's covered evenly. Let extra chocolate drip off before placing on your lined sheet.

Put your chocolate-dipped wedges in the fridge or freezer for around 15 minutes until they firm up.

Mix caramel bits and heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 30 seconds at a time, stirring between each until it's completely smooth.

Pour warm caramel over each chocolate-coated apple wedge, then immediately scatter chopped pecans on top.

Stick them back in the fridge or freezer for 10 minutes so the caramel can harden before you serve them.
