Quick Cheeseburger Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ground beef.
02 - 1 large onion, diced (roughly 1 cup).
03 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
04 - 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded.
05 - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour or Bisquick.
06 - 1 cup milk (whole works best).
07 - 2 eggs, large.
08 - Black pepper, as much as you like.
09 - Garlic powder, however much you prefer.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F and give a 9-inch pie plate a light coat of oil.
02 - Sauté the diced onion in a skillet over medium heat with a drizzle of oil until it softens.
03 - Toss the ground beef into the pan with the onions. Crumble it apart while cooking until you no longer see pink. Get rid of the grease left behind.
04 - Sprinkle in salt, black pepper, and as much garlic powder as you'd like to flavor the meat mix.
05 - Scoop the meat mixture into the greased pie plate. Scatter the shredded cheese evenly on top.
06 - Whisk the eggs, milk, and flour (or Bisquick) in a bowl. Pour this batter over the meat and cheese layers.
07 - Bake it for 20 to 25 minutes. It's done when a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

# Notes:

01 - Best served warm.
02 - You can swap Bisquick with plain flour.
03 - Perfect for a hectic weeknight.
