Set your oven to 350°F (180°C) and let it heat up.

Cut the bread both vertically and horizontally, taking care not to slice all the way through the bottom crust. Place it on a baking tray lined with foil.

Stir the green onions into the melted butter. If you're using the seeds, toss them in too.

Tuck slices of cheese into the gaps you cut into the loaf.

Spoon the butter-onion mix into the openings between the bread pieces.

Wrap the loaf in foil and bake for 15 minutes. Then, uncover it and bake for 10 more minutes, or until the cheese is melted and super gooey.
