Cheesy Texas Toast Mozzarella (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 113 g unsalted butter, softened
02 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
03 - Salt, to taste
04 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
05 - 8 slices white bread, cut 2.5 cm thick
06 - 100 g shredded mozzarella cheese
07 - Italian seasoning, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Set the oven to broil function and allow it to preheat fully.
02 - In a small bowl, combine softened butter with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper, mixing until well blended.
03 - Brush both sides of each bread slice evenly with the prepared garlic butter mixture. Arrange bread on an ungreased baking sheet in a single layer.
04 - Broil the bread slices for 1 minute per side, or until lightly golden, watching closely to prevent burning.
05 - Remove the tray and generously top one side of each slice with shredded mozzarella and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.
06 - Return to the oven and broil until cheese is thoroughly melted and bubbling. Remove immediately when desired doneness is reached.
