Simple Sweet Ambrosia Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 cup of whipping cream, heavy type
02 - 1/4 cup of fine powdered sugar
03 - 1/2 cup of plain or vanilla-flavored Greek yogurt

→ Fruits

04 - 1 cup of cherries that have been maraschino, make sure they’re drained
05 - A can of 11 ounces of mandarin oranges, thoroughly drained
06 - 8-ounce can of pineapple pieces (tidbits) with all the juice drained out

→ Add-ins

07 - 1 1/2 cups of small, fruit-flavor marshmallows
08 - 1 cup of sweetened shredded coconut

→ Optional Add-ins

09 - Chopped apples
10 - Sliced bananas
11 - Pecans cut into small pieces

# Instructions:

01 - Use an electric mixer to whip the heavy cream for 1–2 minutes. Add powdered sugar bit by bit and continue until stiff peaks are made. Gently mix in the yogurt.
02 - Drain all the canned fruits really well. Then, in a big serving bowl, mix all the leftover ingredients together.
03 - Carefully fold the mix of whipped cream into the rest. Put it in the fridge for at least a half hour before serving.

# Notes:

01 - This can be prepped as early as a day ahead.
02 - If you want it best, don’t add the marshmallows until you’re about to serve it.
03 - Make sure the canned fruits are drained properly to keep the salad from getting watery.
