Creamy Chicken Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Skinless boneless chicken - 1 1/2 pounds.
02 - Pasta (penne) - 10 ounces.
03 - Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon.
04 - Salt - 1/2 teaspoon.
05 - Butter - 3 tablespoons.
06 - Olive oil - 1 tablespoon.
07 - Garlic, finely chopped - 2 teaspoons.
08 - Flour, plain - 3 tablespoons.
09 - Heavy cream - 1 cup.
10 - Chicken stock - 2 cups.
11 - Parmesan, shredded - 1 cup.
12 - Seasoning (Italian blend) - 2 teaspoons.
13 - Tomatoes, sun-dried and drained - 1 cup.
14 - Paprika powder - 1 teaspoon.
15 - Fresh basil leaves to decorate.

# Instructions:

01 - Follow the package to cook the pasta, then drain and leave it aside.
02 - Sprinkle salt and pepper on the chicken and cook it for about 6-8 minutes in oil until done.
03 - Melt the butter first, then quickly cook the garlic (about 30 seconds). Stir in flour to form a paste-like mix.
04 - Gradually whisk in stock, cream, and cheese. Mix in tomatoes and spices, then let it thicken over heat.
05 - Re-add chicken to the pan with cooked pasta. Stir everything to cover thoroughly in sauce.
06 - Sprinkle some fresh basil on top. Add extra cheese if you like.

01 - You can substitute with another medium pasta.
02 - Adding cream slowly keeps the sauce smooth.
