DIY Chocolate Peanut Cups (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chocolate Layer

01 - 7 ounces (200g) dark chocolate coating or chocolate for baking
02 - 1 teaspoon cooking oil, with extra needed if using baking chocolate

→ Peanut Butter Filling

03 - ½ cup (125g) smooth or chunky peanut butter
04 - 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup, adjusted to your liking

→ Toppings

05 - A sprinkle of sea salt flakes if you want (not required)

# Instructions:

01 - Snap the chocolate into small pieces and mix with oil in a bowl safe for microwaving. Heat at half power in short bursts, giving it a stir each time, until it's totally smooth.
02 - Take about a teaspoon of the melted chocolate and drop it into each paper cup. Gently tilt to coat the sides about 1cm upward. Pop in freezer for 5-10 minutes until firm.
03 - Warm peanut butter in microwave till it's runny. Mix in your honey or maple syrup. Put about ¾ teaspoon of this mix into each cold chocolate cup, smooth it out, and freeze another 5-10 minutes.
04 - Cover each cup with another teaspoon of melted chocolate, making sure it reaches all edges. If you like, add a tiny bit of sea salt on top. Freeze for 10-15 minutes, then move to fridge for an hour to set completely.

# Notes:

01 - Keep in your fridge for up to a week or freeze for a month
02 - When using baking chocolate, you'll need another teaspoon of oil
03 - Do small batches for better results
