Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Coat a 9×13-inch baking pan with a thin layer of butter or cooking spray.

Pop open one tube of crescent dough and flatten it across the pan bottom. Press the seams together to make one solid sheet.

Mix the softened cream cheese, cup of sugar, and vanilla until it's smooth and fluffy. Spread this mix evenly on top of the dough.

Open the second tube and lay the dough over the cream cheese mixture. Gently push down the edges to seal everything in.

Pour melted butter all over the top layer. Stir together the remaining sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle this mix across the buttery surface.

Pop it in the oven for 30-35 minutes until the top turns golden and everything's set. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes before cutting.
