Parmesan Roasted Garlic Asparagus (Print Version)

01 - 450 g fresh asparagus, ends trimmed
02 - 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
03 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 0.5 teaspoon salt
05 - 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
06 - 60 g Parmesan cheese, finely grated
07 - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
08 - Zest of 1 lemon
09 - Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Set oven temperature to 200°C and allow it to fully preheat.
02 - Rinse asparagus thoroughly, trim tough ends, pat dry, and place in a large mixing bowl.
03 - Combine olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Pour over asparagus and toss until evenly coated.
04 - Sprinkle grated Parmesan over the asparagus and toss gently to coat each spear.
05 - Spread the seasoned asparagus in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
06 - Roast in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, until tender and edges are slightly crisp. Adjust timing based on spear thickness.
07 - Drizzle with lemon juice, garnish with lemon zest and chopped parsley immediately after roasting.
08 - Transfer asparagus to a serving platter and serve warm.

01 - For extra crispiness, select medium-thick spears and avoid overcrowding the baking sheet.
