I wanna tell you about these incredible Pizza Bombs that've totally taken over my kitchen. I whipped these up when I needed something different and fun for watching sports. Imagine: warm, golden dough wrapped around gooey mozzarella, zesty pepperoni and tangy sauce, all slathered with garlic butter and topped with sprinkled parmesan. They're honestly impossible to resist.

These Will Change Your Snack Game

I just love how these tasty little bites pack everything we enjoy about pizza into handheld morsels. They're dead simple to make, so they work great for kids after school or when friends come over. That first bite when the cheese stretches out gets me every time.

Stuff You'll Want

  • Pizza Dough: I grab mine from the store to save time, but you can totally make your own.
  • Pizza Sauce: I'm crazy about Rao's, but anything you enjoy works fine.
  • Pepperoni: Gives you that pizza taste we all want.
  • Mozzarella Cheese: Chunk it up for that awesome melty middle.
  • Garlic Butter: This really makes them special.
  • Parmesan Cheese: That last dusting just makes everything tastier.
  • Extra Toppings: Go wild with sausage, veggies, or whatever makes you happy.

Let's Put These Together

Get Ready
Turn your oven to 375°F and give your muffin tin a quick spray.
Putting It All Together
Slice up your dough, add sauce, pepperoni, and pop in that cheese cube, then seal everything up tight.
Baking Time
Pop them in until they turn nice and golden, around 15 minutes.
Last Step
Coat with garlic butter, dust with parmesan, and watch them vanish.

Clever Tricks I've Learned

Want a crunchier outside? Don't use the muffin tin and go with parchment paper on a baking sheet instead. Those chunks of mozzarella really give you that awesome cheese pull, but shredded works in a pinch. Toss in some Italian seasoning with your filling and you'll thank me later.

Switch Things Around

I sometimes grab biscuit dough when I want them super soft and puffy. Try different fillings like sausage with mushrooms, or load them with veggies. Play around with cheeses too—cheddar, provolone, whatever you're in the mood for.

Get A Jump Start

You can put these together early. Just set them up, wrap them, and stick them in the fridge for up to a day. Need to freeze them? No worries—they cook great from frozen, just cook them a bit longer. Already cooked ones warm up wonderfully in the air fryer too.

Tasty Pairings

I always put out small dishes of marinara and ranch for dipping. Throw in a green salad or some crunchy vegetables and you've got yourself a complete meal. They're also amazing with a bowl of tomato soup when you want something really comforting.

Crowd-Pleasing Snacks

For game watching, kid parties, or just hanging out with a movie, these little guys always hit the spot. You can easily make different kinds so everyone gets what they like. And you don't even need to grab plates—just grab and go.

What Makes These So Good

There's something really special about getting all the best pizza flavors in just one bite. The soft crust, melty inside, and those tasty Italian seasonings just work so well together. They're also super fun to both make and eat—my family asks for them all the time now.

Frequently Asked Questions

→ Can I use different pizza dough?

For sure! You can switch it up with homemade dough or pre-made biscuit dough. If you're using Grands, slice them thinner to avoid too much bread.

→ Can I make these ahead of time?

Absolutely. Prepare them, then chill in the fridge for up to a day before baking. You can also freeze them raw or cooked for up to 3 months.

→ What other toppings can I use?

Feel free to get creative with toppings like ham, mushrooms, bell peppers, bacon, or even shredded chicken. Just dice everything small for easy stuffing.

→ Do I have to use a muffin tin?

Not at all. Use a baking sheet lined with parchment instead—just make sure the edges are sealed tightly to keep the filling in.

→ Why use cheese cubes instead of shredded?

Cheese cubes melt better in the center and don’t leak as much as shredded cheese while baking.
